I disguise my inability to draw perspective or proportion by doing only abstracts.. Your image was simply too good I might have to kidnap it you know, and then where would we be?
I'd have to say that deviantart is considerably less prickly to new members then the first community I joined. ;]
If I can find my damnable 512 mb SD card (and for that matter the camera it's attached to o.o), I think I will enjoy being a member very much :]
Haha, well abstract if a fun way to go - I love it. Which community were you originally a member? I'm glad you aren't having any trouble here. I'll go ahead and add you to the group now Usually I ask members to post the icon :icon clubname: (except no space) into your journal. But you don't need to worry too much about it. Just have fun!
My first experience was with the forums of a small company then called Kpoole software. They didn't take kindly to outsiders.. but once you got to be an insider you stuck together

If you go to the club page: [link] you'll see in the journal area that you are added as one of the group members (at least, your icon, which is a link to your gallery, has been added). You can effectively add the "Rice Man Clan" icon to your journal to show that you are a member by typing ":icon rice-man-clan:" into your journal (without the space between icon and rice).
